中国鉄路の特快で使用されている25K型客車を簡単に用途別で紹介します。

YZ25K 硬座車

YZ25K型客車

座席車で2-3配列の向かい合わせ座席。定員118人。

長距離特快ですと4~6両連結されています。

 

YW25K 硬臥車

YW25K型客車

寝台車で3段寝台(日本のB寝台車に相当)。定員66人。

長距離特快ですと7~9両連結されています。

 

RW25K 軟臥車

RW25K型客車

寝台車で2段寝台(日本のA寝台車に相当)。定員36人。

一般的には1両ですが列車によっては2両連結されている場合もあります。

 

RW19K 高級軟臥車

RW19K型客車

寝台車で2人個室(日本のツインデラックスに相当)。定員16人。

一部の列車に1両連結されています。

 

CA25K 餐車

CA25K型客車

食堂車。定員48人。

1両連結されます。ただし比較的距離が短く、深夜発朝着のような場合は連結されない列車もあります。

 

XL25K 行李車

XL25K型客車

荷物車。

1両連結されます。

 

UZ25K 郵政車

UZ25K型客車

郵便車。

一部の列車に1両連結されます。長距離特快には大抵連結されています。

 

KD25K 空調発電車

KD25K型客車

電源車で編成全体の空調や機器の電源を供給します。

機関車から電源供給する列車以外は必ず1両連結されています。

 

上記に掲載した以外にも25K型にはRZ25K軟座車や二階建てタイプの車両も存在します。

また客室扉は折頁門(手動扉)と塞拉門(プラグ扉)の2種類があり、台車も製造工場により異なるため様々な形態があり多彩です。
